Notes:
This is a genuine, WWI-era U.S. Army issue saber, not a reproduction. The Model 1913 is historically significant as the last true combat saber adopted by the U.S. Army, designed specifically for the thrust rather than the cut. With its clear ordnance eagle-head stamp, U.S. property mark, and 1918 L.F.&C. date, this example is a desirable addition for collectors of U.S. military edged weapons, WWI artifacts, or Patton-related memorabilia.
