For sale: Exceptional Imperial German (Prussian) Model 1889 Infantry Officer's Sword, crafted by J.A. Henckels Zwillingswerk of Solingen. Dating to circa 1889–1910, this historic piece features a straight, double-fullered blade (31–32 inches) with etched floral motifs, a Prussian crown, and the "WRII" cypher for Kaiser Wilhelm II. The gilt brass guard, with a unique hinged counter-guard, showcases a detailed Prussian eagle with scepter and orb, while the black ray skin grip is wrapped in twisted brass and silver wire (note: wire is broken and handle has a crack).
