German Puma Solingen Officer’s Saber with Scabbard – Diamond Logo Marked

Offered here is an authentic German officer’s saber manufactured by Puma-Werk Lauterjung & Sohn of Solingen, bearing their iconic diamond-shaped PUMA logo — a mark registered in 1920 and highly sought after by collectors.

This elegant saber features a curved, fullered blade with a bright polished finish, still retaining much of its original luster. The brass half-basket guard is paired with a black ribbed grip wrapped in twisted wire, offering both strength and refined presentation. The blade sits securely in its steel scabbard, which shows honest age and service wear consistent with period use.

Puma, better known today for their edged hunting knives, was among the respected Solingen sword makers of the early 20th century, supplying high-quality sidearms to officers. The diamond logo with PUMA inside etched at the ricasso confirms its authenticity and period manufacture.
