Antique German Lion Head Officer’s Sword – Artillery Branch – w/ Scabbard

This is a fine original Imperial German officer’s dress sword from the late 19th to early 20th century, featuring the iconic lion head pommel with red eyes, ornate brass guard with crossed cannon insignia (artillery branch), and a wire-wrapped black grip. The blade is straight, double-fullered, with light etched detail and measures approx. 32". It comes with its original nickel-plated steel scabbard, showing honest age patina and wear.

The lion head hilt swords were a symbol of rank and prestige in the German Imperial army and remain one of the most recognizable and collectible officer’s sidearms today.
